Eilean Donan Castle

Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most iconic images in Scotland. It is located on an island at a point where three sea lochs meet. A footbridge connects the island to the mainland.

The castle was built in the 13th century and became a stronghold of the Clan Mackenzie and their allies.
